Geneon has announced that the company has acquired the rights to worldwide video and theatrical distribution rights to Appleseed. From this acquisition, Geneon has the rights for the film in all countries, save Japan and Korea.

ADV Films has announced that it will be adding its own line of "Cosplay Caps" to the company's ADV Toys line.
