ImaginAsian the TotalVids of Selfish Samurai Angel Love

Central Park Media has announced that they will be partnering with TotalVid.com as the company launches its online, "on demand" service. The initial rollout of titles includes such titles as Cyber City Oedo, Animation Runner Kuromi, and Hyper Speed GranDoll. The titles are in download "rental" format that can be viewed for seven days, and have a prices that start at $1.99.

Central Park Media has inked a broadcast deal with ImaginAsian TV. ImaginAsian will air several of Central Park's anime properties on the station in Japanese dialogue with English subtitles. The new titles slated to air on the network are The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Venus Wars, A Wind Named Amnesia, Roujin Z, and They Were 11.

The Be Beautiful website has announced a replacement campaign for its "defective" run of Selfish Love: Book 1. The website has a downloadable form and instructions on how to obtain a "fixed" issue of the manga.

Dreamworks has announced that the Innocence: Ghost in the Shell DVD will be released on western shores on December 28. The disc will feature Japanese 5.1 audio, with optional subtitles. The disc's bonus features include commentary by Mamoru Oshii and Toshihiko Nishikubo, as well as a behind the scenes featurette. The disc is set to retail with a suggested retail price of $22.95US

The Japanese Samurai Champloo website has listed that the series' second season will air on the BS Fuji television network on Saturdays from 10:30-11:30AM beginning on January 22, 2005. The second season contains episodes 18-26 of the series.

Geneon has announced details about their agreement with Toei. The deal is just for distribution, such as when the company distributed titles for Bandai and Viz. Toei will doing all of the production work on the titles it decides to release. The agreement does not affect licenses held by other companies.

James Cameron has stated that he will begin filming a feature film adaptation of Battle Angel in an interview with NPR. The film will feature a CG main character, and will be filmed in 3D.
