Bravo to Rereleasing the Weta Expo's Hell Songs

Anime Expo will be holding a job fair and open house event on April 23, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. The purpose of the event is to recruit staff for the upcoming Anime Expo 2005 event.

TOKYOPOP has announced that the company will release the first American volume of the Girls Bravo manga series in September.

Japan's CoMix Wave has annouced that it plans to release Makoto Shinkai's Voices of a Distant Star on UMD. "UMD" is Sony's new proprietary video format designed especially for the Sony PSP. Currently, a price and release date are not known.

Weta Workshop's homepage has updated its live-action Evangelion section. several previously unreleased design sketches have been posted to the site. According to Weta Workshop, the project is currently "on hold."

According to Anime on DVD, Geneon Entertainment is currently involved in a new Hellsing OVA series. There is no set number of episodes, but the series is supposedly based on the original manga work.

AIC has announced that Geneon will rerelease twenty new titles produced by Pioneer LDC in Japan. The titles inlude Tenchi Muyo!, El Hazard, Battle Athletes, and Armitage III, among others. The titles will be released at a rate of 5 titles per month with a suggested retail price of 3,990 yen per disc.
