Inukami Hides and Seeks the Dark Horse's Naruto

Central Park Media has announced that its award-winning CG film, KaKuRenBo, will be aired on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. The film is scheduled to air on October 29 at midnight.

According to Anime Nation, Japanese publisher Media Works has announced a new project from Mari Matsuzawa(Hinado Girl) titled Inukami! Inukami!, a comedic series, will premiere in the October 27 issue of Dengeki Comic Gao. An anime series based on the manga is set to debut next spring.

Toynami has announced that it plans to product Naruto merchandise. Currently scheduled are figurines, collectable statues, and bookends among other items.

Dark Horse has announced that it has acquired several new manga titles. The newest addition to the company's lineup are as follows:

  • Lullabies from Hell, by Hideshi Hino
  • Museum of Terror, by Junji Ito
  • Scary Books, by Kazuo Umezu
  • School Zone, by Kanako Inuki
  • Octopus Girl, by Toru Yamazaki
  • Satsuma Gishiden, by Hiroshi Hirata
  • Old Boy, by Garon Tsuchiyaand Nobuaki Minegishi
  • Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, novels 1-3, by Junichi Fujisaku

According to Anime News Service, Kodansha has announced an animated adaptation of CLAMP's XXXHolic manga series. The show will debut in Japan in the spring of 2006.
