In a near-death experience on an already-bad day, Makoto Konno discovers that she can go back in time. She then relives the same day, avoiding all the bad things that happened. But it can't be that simple, can it? After all, avoiding trouble opens up the possibility of it hitting someone else.

On the chalkboard that fateful day is the English text, "Time waits for no one." Makoto will learn through her series of do-overs that her choices in life are binding. Joseph Heller would have a thing or two to say about that.
