As the anime scene recovers from con season, Anime Dream is heating up! We have two new reviews for you today, covering two very different series.

One of the early peaks of Gonzo Digimation's creativity, Last Exile is the story of two young adventurers navigating dangerous skies, in search of answers about their missing fathers. We have a review of the full series for you today.

Also, we're trying out a new review format — the first-impressions review. It takes a considerable amount of time to prepare reviews on a full series, so we're going to start letting you know what we think early on, and follow up with the gritty details later. Our first first-impressions review is for Mushi-Shi, a show that examines human flaws through interactions with the spirit-like "mushi."
