This week Ryu brings us reviews of a mixture of shounen and shoujo sci-fi. On the shounen side, Ryu has compiled two by-volumne reviews touching on the Gundam franchise. First off the bat come his thoughts on the first volume of the series that started it all, Mobile Suit Gundam. To find out Ryu's feelings on how well the show has aged, click here. Secondly comes a mysteriously out-of-order review of the 14th dubbed, VHS volume of Gundam Wing. Did he review a dubbed volume in honor of MSG being released as a dub-only DVD, or for more nefarious reasons? Click here to get a gander at the review, and form your own speculation... Finally comes the token shoujo series review, the Please Save My Earth OVA series. I'm personally glad that Viz chose to release the OVA series and not just the movie, but perhaps you'd like to click here and see Ryu's thoughts on the merits of the series.
