Anime News Network reports that anime distributor FUNimation edited the ending credits sequence of their second My Bride is a Mermaid DVD set. In the original Japanese release, a simple animation sequence accompanies Sun & Lunar's Dan Dan Dan and the credits. In the American release, a close-up shot of a single frame of the Japanese ending sequence that slowly pans out is used.

According to FUNimation, the issue is a technical issue, and the change was made to meet production deadlines. The sequence does not affect the story, or the flow of the series itself.
